History[edit | edit source]
Barts Health NHS Trust was established on 1 April 2012 following a merger of Barts and The London NHS Trust, Newham University Hospital NHS Trust, and Whipps Cross University Hospital NHS Trust. The merger was intended to create a more efficient and sustainable healthcare system within the London area.

The trust provides a wide range of healthcare services, including emergency medicine, surgery, maternity care, and paediatrics. It also offers specialist services such as cardiology, neurology, and cancer care. Barts Health NHS Trust is a major centre for medical research and medical education, working in partnership with Queen Mary University of London and other academic institutions.
Performance[edit | edit source]
