Blood Cancer UK
Blood Cancer UK is a charity based in the United Kingdom that is dedicated to funding research, providing support, and campaigning for those affected by blood cancer. Blood cancers include leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.

Blood Cancer UK was founded in 1960 by the Eastwood family, following the loss of their daughter Susan to leukemia. Originally named the Leukaemia Research Fund, the charity was renamed Bloodwise in 2015, and then to Blood Cancer UK in 2020.
Mission[edit | edit source]
The mission of Blood Cancer UK is to stop people dying from blood cancer, to make patients' lives better, and to stop people getting blood cancer in the first place. The charity funds world-class research, provides practical and emotional support to patients and their loved ones, and raises awareness of blood cancer.

Blood Cancer UK has invested over £500 million in blood cancer research in the UK. The charity funds research into all types of blood cancer, including leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.

Blood Cancer UK provides a range of support services for people affected by blood cancer. These include an information line, online forums, and patient information booklets. The charity also runs support groups across the UK.
