Boston University School of Social Work
Boston University School of Social Work (BUSSW) is a professional school within Boston University. It offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in Social Work. The school is located on the Charles River Campus of Boston University and also operates a satellite campus in Fall River, Massachusetts.

The Boston University School of Social Work was established in 1918, making it one of the oldest schools of social work in the United States. The school was initially established as a response to the social problems of the time, including poverty, disease, and social injustice.

BUSSW offers a Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW), a Master of Social Work (MSW), and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Work. The school also offers dual degree programs in collaboration with other schools within Boston University, including the School of Public Health and the School of Theology.
The curriculum at BUSSW emphasizes both theory and practice, with students required to complete fieldwork placements in addition to their coursework.
