Catherine Ulbricht
Catherine Ulbricht is a renowned pharmacologist and herbalist who has made significant contributions to the field of complementary and alternative medicine. Ulbricht completed her undergraduate studies at Tufts University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then pursued her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Ulbricht also holds a Master's degree in Epidemiology from Harvard School of Public Health.

Ulbricht began her career as a clinical pharmacist at Massachusetts General Hospital. She later served as a senior attending pharmacist at the same institution. Her work primarily involved providing drug information and education to healthcare professionals and patients.
In 2000, Ulbricht co-founded the Natural Standard Research Collaboration. This organization aims to provide healthcare professionals and patients with reliable information on the safety and efficacy of herbs and supplements. She has also served as a consultant to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the World Health Organization (WHO) on issues related to herbal medicine.
Ulbricht has authored numerous articles and books on herbal medicine and complementary therapies. Her work has been published in prestigious medical journals, including the Journal of the American Medical Association and the New England Journal of Medicine.
