Chattogram Maa-O-Shishu Hospital Medical College was established in 2005 as an extension of the Chattogram Maa-O-Shishu Hospital, which was founded in 1979. The hospital was initially established to provide healthcare services to mothers and children, but over the years, it expanded its services to include a wide range of medical specialties. The medical college was founded to address the growing need for medical education in the region and to train competent healthcare professionals.
