Children’s Environmental Health, Office of (CEH)

ADEQ office that protects the health and environment of Arizona’s school children. Its major initiatives are the No Idling Initiative for Schools, in which bus engines are turned off while waiting for students to protect them from harmful fumes, and the Air Quality Flag Program, which uses colored flags to alert students, teachers and parents about risks of high-pollution days.
