Christine Menias
Christine Menias is a renowned radiologist and medical educator known for her significant contributions to the field of radiology. She is currently affiliated with the Mayo Clinic in Arizona, where she serves as a consultant and professor of radiology.
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Christine Menias was born and raised in Egypt. She moved to the United States for her higher education. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she majored in Biology. She then pursued her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
Career[edit | edit source]
After completing her medical degree, Menias completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging and Interventional Radiology at the same institution.
Menias has held several prestigious positions throughout her career. She served as the Chief of the Computed Tomography (CT) section and the Director of the Body CT Fellowship at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. She then moved to the Mayo Clinic in Arizona, where she currently serves as a consultant and professor of radiology.

Menias is known for her extensive research and publications in the field of radiology. She has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and textbooks. Her research primarily focuses on the use of advanced imaging techniques in the diagnosis and treatment of various abdominal and pelvic conditions.

Throughout her career, Menias has received numerous awards and recognition for her contributions to radiology. She is a fellow of the American College of Radiology and has been recognized as a Top Doctor by the Phoenix Magazine.
