Cora Sternberg
Cora Sternberg is an internationally recognized oncologist and medical researcher specializing in the field of urological cancer. She has made significant contributions to the understanding and treatment of prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and kidney cancer.
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Sternberg was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where she developed an interest in biology and medicine. She went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
Career[edit | edit source]
Following her graduation, Sternberg completed her residency in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She then pursued a fellowship in oncology at the National Cancer Institute.
Sternberg has held numerous prestigious positions throughout her career. She served as the Chief of the Medical Oncology Department at the San Camillo-Forlanini Hospital in Rome, Italy for over 20 years. She is currently the Clinical Director of the Englander Institute for Precision Medicine and a Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City.

Sternberg's research primarily focuses on the development of new therapeutic strategies for urological cancers. She has led numerous clinical trials investigating the efficacy of various chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments. Her work has significantly advanced the field and has led to the development of new treatment options for patients with urological cancers.
