Corgard

Corgard is a brand name for the generic drug Nadolol, a non-selective beta blocker used primarily in the treatment of hypertension and angina pectoris. It is also used to manage symptoms of thyroid storm, and for migraine prophylaxis.

Uses[edit | edit source]

Corgard is used for several medical conditions including:

  • Hypertension - Corgard is used to treat high blood pressure, helping to prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.
  • Angina Pectoris - It is also used to prevent chest pain due to angina, it does not cure this condition.
  • Thyroid Storm - Corgard is used to manage symptoms of thyroid storm.
  • Migraine - It is also used for migraine prophylaxis.
