Currier House (Harvard College)
Currier House is one of the twelve undergraduate residential Houses of Harvard College at Harvard University. Located in the Radcliffe Quadrangle, Currier House is known for its vibrant community and modernist architecture.

Currier House was established in 1970 and named after Audrey Bruce Currier, a Radcliffe alumna who tragically died in a plane crash in 1967. The house was designed by the architectural firm of Harrison & Abramovitz and is noted for its distinctive modernist style.
Architecture[edit | edit source]
Currier House consists of four towers: Gilbert, Bingham, Tuchman, and Daniels. The design emphasizes communal living with shared spaces such as the dining hall, common rooms, and courtyards. The house also features a solarium, a dance studio, and various study spaces.
Community and Traditions[edit | edit source]
Currier House is known for its strong sense of community and numerous traditions. The house hosts several annual events, including the Currier House Formal, the "Ten-Man" (a talent show), and the "Currier Crawl" (a social event). The house motto is "Currier House: The Treehouse," reflecting its welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
