Cytestrol acetate is a synthetic, steroidal estrogen and progestogen that was never marketed. It is an acetate ester of cytestrol, which, similarly to cytestrol acetate, was never marketed.

Cytestrol acetate, also known as 17α-acetoxy-6-chloro-1,4,6-pregnatriene-3,20-dione, is a synthetic pregnane steroid and a derivative of testosterone.
