Annie Ee was born in 1988 in Singapore. She worked as a domestic worker and was employed by Tan Hui Zhen and Pua Hak Chuan. Ee was described as a kind and gentle person who had a mild intellectual disability.

Abuse and Death[edit | edit source]

Annie Ee suffered prolonged abuse at the hands of her employers, Tan Hui Zhen and Pua Hak Chuan. The abuse included physical beatings, starvation, and psychological torment. The abuse escalated over time, leading to severe injuries.

On 13 April 2015, Annie Ee succumbed to her injuries and died. An autopsy revealed that she had suffered multiple fractures, bruises, and other injuries consistent with prolonged abuse.

Following her death, Tan Hui Zhen and Pua Hak Chuan were arrested and charged with her murder.
