Dubai Medical College
Dubai Medical College (DMC) is a medical school located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Established in 1985, it was the first private medical school in Dubai to offer a degree in Medicine and Surgery.

Dubai Medical College was established in 1985 by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department of the Dubai government. The college was founded with the aim of providing high-quality medical education to meet the need for medical professionals in the UAE.
Academics[edit | edit source]
DMC offers a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree program. The curriculum is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the basic medical sciences and clinical studies. The program is divided into two phases: the pre-clinical phase, which covers the first two years of study, and the clinical phase, which covers the remaining three years.

Admission to DMC is highly competitive and is based on academic merit. Applicants must have a high school diploma with a focus on science subjects, and must pass an entrance examination and interview.
Facilities[edit | edit source]
DMC has a number of facilities to support its students, including a library, laboratories, and a clinical skills lab. The college also has a teaching hospital, Dubai Medical College Hospital, where students can gain practical experience.
