Elliot Colburn (born 6 August 1992) is a British Conservative politician. He has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Carshalton and Wallington since the 2019 general election.

Early life and education[edit | edit source]

Colburn was born in Sutton, London. He attended local schools before studying at the University of York, where he earned a degree in Politics.

Career[edit | edit source]

Before entering politics, Colburn worked in the National Health Service (NHS) as a manager. He was also a local councillor in the London Borough of Sutton.

Parliamentary career[edit | edit source]

Colburn was elected as the MP for Carshalton and Wallington in the 2019 general election, defeating the incumbent Liberal Democrat MP Tom Brake. His victory was part of a broader success for the Conservative Party in that election.

In Parliament, Colburn has been involved in various committees and has focused on issues such as healthcare, local government, and community services. He is known for his advocacy on behalf of his constituents and his work to improve local infrastructure and services.

Colburn is openly gay and has been an advocate for LGBT rights. He lives in Carshalton with his partner.
