Ernest Madu is a globally recognized cardiologist and healthcare leader, known for his significant contributions to the field of cardiology and global healthcare. He is the founder and CEO of the Heart Institute of the Caribbean (HIC), a comprehensive cardiac care institute located in Kingston, Jamaica.

Ernest Madu was born and raised in Nigeria. He completed his medical degree at the University of Ibadan, one of the premier medical schools in Africa. He then moved to the United States for his postgraduate training, where he specialized in cardiology.
