Botanical Fascicle[edit | edit source]
In botany, a fascicle is a bundle of leaves or flowers growing together in a cluster. Fascicles are found in many plant species, including pines and palms. They can vary in size and shape, and may contain anywhere from two to many leaves or flowers.
Anatomical Fascicle[edit | edit source]
In anatomy, a fascicle is a bundle of skeletal muscle fibers surrounded by perimysium, a type of connective tissue. Fascicles group together to form a muscle. A single skeletal muscle may contain many fascicles, which are all surrounded by their own layer of connective tissue called the perimysium.
