Grant County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 51,208. Its county seat is Lancaster. The county was created in 1837 and named after an Indian trader.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,183 square miles (3,060 km²), of which 1,147 square miles (2,970 km²) is land and 36 square miles (93 km²) (3.0%) is water.

As of the 2020 census, there were 51,208 people, 20,140 households, and 12,917 families residing in the county. The population density was 44.6 inhabitants per square mile (17.2/km²). There were 21,626 housing units at an average density of 18.8 per square mile (7.3/km²).
