Guanabenz

Guanabenz is an alpha-2 adrenergic agonist that is commonly used as an antihypertensive agent. It works by reducing the amount of norepinephrine available to bind to alpha-2 receptors in the brain, which in turn reduces the activity of the sympathetic nervous system and lowers blood pressure.
