Hamdard

Hamdard is a renowned Unani and Ayurvedic pharmaceutical company in India. It was established in 1906 by Hakim Abdul Majeed in Delhi, and has become one of the largest producers of traditional medicines in the world.

Hamdard was founded by Hakim Abdul Majeed with the aim of promoting and developing Unani medicine. Majeed started the company in a small shop in Delhi. After his death, his son, Hakim Abdul Hameed, took over the company and expanded it into a major enterprise.

Products[edit | edit source]

Hamdard offers a wide range of products, from health and wellness products to food and beverages. Some of their most popular products include Rooh Afza, Safi, Cinkara, and Joshina.

Hamdard Laboratories[edit | edit source]

Hamdard Laboratories is the manufacturing division of Hamdard. It produces over 600 products and has a presence in over 22 countries worldwide.

Hamdard University[edit | edit source]

In addition to its pharmaceutical operations, Hamdard also runs the Hamdard University, which offers courses in Unani medicine and other fields.
