- Hazlehurst is a city located in Copiah County, Mississippi, United States. It was incorporated in 1829 and named after George H. Hazlehurst, an engineer who laid out the route for the New Orleans, Jackson and Great Northern Railroad. The city is known for its rich history, southern charm, and hospitality.

- Hazlehurst is located in the southern region of Mississippi. The city covers a total area of 4.4 square miles, all land. It is approximately 30 miles south of the state capital, Jackson.
