- Ho-Ho-Kus is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 4,078, reflecting an increase of 18 (+0.4%) from the 4,060 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 125 (+3.2%) from the 3,935 counted in the 1990 Census.

- The origin of the borough's name is unclear, with several theories in existence. The most widely accepted theory is that it comes from a Native American phrase meaning "red cedar."
Geography[edit | edit source]
- Ho-Ho-Kus is located at 40°59′31″N 74°06′25″W (40.992096, -74.106909). According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough had a total area of 1.75 square miles (4.52 km2), all of which is land.

- Ho-Ho-Kus is served by NJ Transit at the Ho-Ho-Kus train station, which offers service on the Main Line to Hoboken Terminal, with connections to Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan.
