- Hodgenville is a city in LaRue County, Kentucky, United States. It is the county seat of LaRue County and is best known as the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States. The city is part of the Elizabethtown–Fort Knox Metropolitan Statistical Area.

- Hodgenville was established in 1818 and named after Robert Hodgen, an owner of a local mill. The city was incorporated on February 18, 1836. Hodgenville holds the unique distinction of being the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln. The Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park is located just south of the city.

- Hodgenville is located in central Kentucky, at the intersection of U.S. Route 31E and Kentucky Route 210. It is approximately 55 miles south of Louisville and 10 miles west of Bardstown.
