Human leg
Human leg can refer to the entire lower extremity or the portion of either of the two lower extremities in human beings that is below the knee joint. Also called lower limb, when used to mean the entire lower extremity, the human legs allow them to stand upright, walk, run and do many other activities. In the stricter sense, the leg is the portion of the lower limb from the knee joint to the ankle, also known as crus.
