Indian Institute of Toxicology Research
Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (IITR) is a premier research institute in India dedicated to the field of toxicology. It is one of the constituent laboratories of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

The Indian Institute of Toxicology Research was established in 1965 as the Industrial Toxicology Research Centre (ITRC). The institute was later renamed IITR to reflect its broader scope and focus on toxicology research.
