JWH-047 is a synthetic cannabinoid from the naphthoylindole family. It acts as a full agonist at both the CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors, with a binding affinity of 9.0 nM at CB1 and 2.94 nM at CB2. JWH-047 is one of the few synthetic cannabinoids to feature a 2'-naphthoyl group, and is structurally somewhat similar to other naphthoylindole cannabinoids such as JWH-018 and JWH-073.
