John Hans Stroh
John Hans Stroh (born 1950) is a renowned American physician and researcher known for his contributions to the field of cardiology. He has been influential in advancing cardiovascular medicine and has published numerous studies on heart disease and cardiac surgery.

John Hans Stroh was born in 1950 in New York City, New York. He attended Harvard University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1972. He then pursued his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, graduating in 1976.
Career[edit | edit source]
After completing his medical degree, Stroh undertook a residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. He then specialized in cardiology and completed a fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.
Stroh joined the faculty at Stanford University School of Medicine in 1982, where he has held various positions, including Professor of Cardiology and Director of the Cardiovascular Research Institute. His research has focused on ischemic heart disease, heart failure, and cardiac imaging techniques.

Stroh's research has significantly impacted the understanding and treatment of heart disease. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles and has been a principal investigator in several major clinical trials.
