KFC Yum! Center is a multi-purpose sports arena located in Louisville, Kentucky. The arena, which opened in 2010, is named after the Yum! Brands company, which owns the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) franchise.

The KFC Yum! Center was officially opened on October 10, 2010. The construction of the arena was part of a larger effort to revitalize downtown Louisville. The project was financed through a combination of public and private funds, including a significant contribution from Yum! Brands.

Design and Features[edit | edit source]

The KFC Yum! Center was designed by the architectural firm Populous. The arena has a seating capacity of 22,090 for basketball games and 17,500 for concerts. It features a large, center-hung scoreboard and a 360-degree LED ribbon board. The arena also includes 72 luxury suites and more than 2,000 club seats.

The KFC Yum! Center is home to the University of Louisville's men's and women's basketball teams. The arena has also hosted a variety of other events, including concerts, family shows, and conventions. Notable performers who have held concerts at the KFC Yum! Center include Taylor Swift, Elton John, and Paul McCartney.
