Early Life[edit | edit source]

Kevin Mitnick was born in Van Nuys, California. He grew up in the Los Angeles area and developed an early interest in technology and telecommunications. As a teenager, he became proficient in phone phreaking, a method of manipulating telephone systems to make free calls.

Hacking Career[edit | edit source]
