Khulna Medical College
Khulna Medical College (KMC) is a government medical school in Bangladesh, located in the city of Khulna. It is affiliated with the Rajshahi University and is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).

Khulna Medical College was established in 1992. The college started its academic activities on 17 November 1992 with 50 students in the 1992-93 academic session. The first Principal of the college was Prof. Dr. Liakat Ali Khan.
Campus[edit | edit source]
The campus of Khulna Medical College is located in the city of Khulna, the third-largest city in Bangladesh. The campus includes academic buildings, a library, student dormitories, and a hospital.
Academics[edit | edit source]
Khulna Medical College offers a five-year course of study, leading to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. A one-year internship after graduation is compulsory for all graduates. The degree is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council.
Affiliated hospital[edit | edit source]
The college is affiliated with Khulna Medical College Hospital, a 500-bed hospital that provides medical care to the people of Khulna and the surrounding areas.
Notable alumni[edit | edit source]
Many graduates of Khulna Medical College have gone on to successful careers in medicine, both in Bangladesh and abroad.
