Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College (KCMUCo) is a constituent college of the Tumaini University Makumira in Tanzania, dedicated to providing comprehensive medical education, research, and healthcare services. Established in 1997, KCMUCo is located in Moshi, at the foothills of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. The college is a significant institution in the region for training healthcare professionals and conducting vital medical research, particularly in areas endemic to the region.

KCMUCo was founded with the vision of improving the health and well-being of the people of Tanzania and beyond, by addressing the critical shortage of healthcare professionals in the region. It was established through the collaborative efforts of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT), the Government of Tanzania, and a consortium of overseas partners. This partnership aimed to leverage the existing infrastructure and expertise of the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC), a leading referral hospital in the area, to create a center of excellence in medical education and research.

KCMUCo offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in medicine, nursing, and allied health sciences. The curriculum is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in medical knowledge, practical skills, and research, with an emphasis on community health and service.
