King Edward Medical College (KEMC), now known as King Edward Medical University, is a prestigious and historic medical school located in Lahore, Pakistan. Established in 1860, it is one of the oldest medical institutions in the South Asian region. The college was named after King Edward VII.

King Edward Medical College was founded in 1860 as the Lahore Medical School. The institution was later renamed in honor of King Edward VII. Over the years, KEMC has played a pivotal role in the development of medical education in Pakistan. It was upgraded to university status in 2005, becoming King Edward Medical University.

The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various fields of medicine and surgery. The Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program is the most prominent undergraduate course offered by the university.
