Liebschützberg is a municipality in the district of Nordsachsen, in Saxony, Germany. It is located in the eastern part of Germany and is known for its rich history and cultural heritage.

The municipality of Liebschützberg was formed on January 1, 1994, by the merger of the former municipalities of Liebschütz, Torgau and Oschatz. The name Liebschützberg is derived from the Slavic word "Luboscici", which means "people who love".
