List of Energy Drinks

An energy drink is a type of beverage containing stimulant compounds, usually caffeine, which is marketed as providing mental and physical stimulation. They may or may not be carbonated and many also contain sugar or other sweeteners, herbal extracts, taurine, and amino acids. This article provides a list of popular energy drinks available in the market.

Red Bull is an energy drink sold by Red Bull GmbH, an Austrian company created in 1987. It has the highest market share of any energy drink in the world, with 7.5 billion cans sold in a year.

Monster Energy[edit | edit source]

Monster Energy is an energy drink introduced by Hansen Natural Company (now Monster Beverage Corporation) in April 2002. The company is also known for supporting many extreme sports events.

Rockstar[edit | edit source]

Rockstar is a popular energy drink that was created in 2001, with over 20 different types available in over 30 countries.

5-Hour Energy[edit | edit source]

5-Hour Energy is an American-made "energy shot" that comes in a small 2-ounce bottle. It was launched in the United States in 2004 by Innovation Ventures.

AMP Energy[edit | edit source]

AMP Energy is an energy drink brand produced and owned by PepsiCo. At the time of its introduction in 2001, AMP Energy was initially distributed under the Mountain Dew soft drink brand.

NOS[edit | edit source]

NOS is an energy drink sold in 16 and 24oz cans. The drink was also distributed in a bottle designed to look like a NOS (Nitrous Oxide Systems) cartridge.

Health Concerns[edit | edit source]

There are health concerns associated with energy drinks, particularly related to their high caffeine content and the use of other stimulants.
