  • Max Domi - A Canadian professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 12.
  • Scott Verplank - A professional golfer who has been a member of the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour. He was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 9.
