London Borough of Wandsworth is a London borough located in South West London, forming part of Outer London. It covers an area of 13.23 square miles and is identified in the London Plan as one of the 35 major centres in Greater London. Wandsworth shares borders with the London Borough of Lambeth to the east, the London Borough of Merton and the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames to the south, the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames to the west, and the City of Westminster to the north.

The borough was formed in 1965 from the merger of the former area of the Metropolitan Borough of Wandsworth and part of the Metropolitan Borough of Battersea. However, the Battersea Park and Battersea Power Station were transferred to the neighbouring London Borough of Lambeth.
