Mai al-Kaila
Mai al-Kaila is a Palestinian politician and physician who has served as the Minister of Health of the State of Palestine since April 2019. She is the first woman to hold this position in the Palestinian government.

Mai al-Kaila was born in the town of Jenin in the northern West Bank. She pursued her medical education at the University of Granada in Spain, where she earned her degree in medicine. She later specialized in gynecology and obstetrics.
