Mandy Marquardt
Mandy Marquardt (born August 7, 1991) is an American track cyclist who specializes in sprint events. She is a member of the USA Cycling National Team and has represented the United States in numerous international competitions.
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Mandy Marquardt was born in Mannheim, Germany, and moved to the United States at a young age. She grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she began her cycling career. Marquardt attended Penn State University, where she balanced her academic pursuits with her athletic career.
Cycling Career[edit | edit source]
Marquardt started cycling competitively at the age of 10. She initially competed in road cycling before transitioning to track cycling. Her talent in sprint events quickly became apparent, and she began to focus exclusively on track cycling.
National and International Competitions[edit | edit source]
Marquardt has competed in multiple USA Cycling National Championships, where she has won numerous titles in sprint events. She has also represented the United States in international competitions, including the UCI Track Cycling World Championships and the Pan American Games.
