Marinejegerkommandoen (MJK) is the maritime special forces unit of the Norwegian Armed Forces. It is part of the Royal Norwegian Navy and is headquartered at Haakonsvern in Bergen, Norway. The unit was established in 1953 and has since been involved in numerous international operations, including the War in Afghanistan, the Iraq War, and Operation Ocean Shield.
