McDonald's New Zealand is a subsidiary of the international fast food chain, McDonald's Corporation. It was first established in the country in 1976 and has since grown to become one of the most popular fast food chains in New Zealand.

The first McDonald's restaurant in New Zealand was opened in Porirua on June 7, 1976. Since then, the company has expanded its operations across the country, with over 170 restaurants currently in operation.
