Near-Infrared (NIR) refers to a region of the electromagnetic spectrum that encompasses wavelengths from approximately 700 nm to 2500 nm. This range lies just beyond the visible spectrum and is not detectable by the human eye. NIR is widely used in various scientific, industrial, and medical applications due to its unique properties.
