NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn is a full-service, 450-bed academic teaching hospital in Brooklyn, a borough of New York City. It is a part of the NYU Langone Health system, one of the largest and most renowned healthcare providers in the United States.

The hospital was originally established in 1883 as the German Hospital of Brooklyn. In the wake of World War I, the hospital was renamed to Lutheran Medical Center in 1917. In 2016, it became a part of the NYU Langone Health system and was renamed NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn.

NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn offers a wide range of medical and surgical care in a multitude of specialties. This includes Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology, and Orthopedics. The hospital is also home to a Level 1 Trauma Center, providing the highest level of surgical care to trauma patients.
