Nice Nailantei Leng'ete
Nice Nailantei Leng'ete is a Kenyan human rights activist known for her efforts to end female genital mutilation (FGM) and child marriage in her community and beyond. She works with Amref Health Africa, an international non-governmental organization focused on health development in Africa.

Nice Nailantei Leng'ete was born in the village of Kimana, located in Kajiado County, Kenya. As a member of the Maasai people, she was expected to undergo FGM as part of her community's traditional rites of passage. However, she managed to escape the practice at the age of eight, which set her on a path to advocate against it.
