Nigerian Breweries[edit | edit source]

Nigerian Breweries Plc is the pioneer and largest brewing company in Nigeria. It was founded on November 16, 1946, under the name Nigerian Brewery Limited. The company is a subsidiary of Heineken N.V., a Dutch brewing company, and it is listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Nigerian Breweries was established as a result of the merger between Nigerian Brewery Limited and Consolidated Breweries Limited in 1946. The company started operations with its first brewery in Lagos, Nigeria. Over the years, Nigerian Breweries has expanded its operations and currently has several breweries across the country.
