Pabna Medical College

Pabna Medical College is a government medical college in Bangladesh, established in 2008. It is located in Pabna, a district in the north-west part of the country. The college is affiliated with the University of Rajshahi and is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).

Pabna Medical College was established in 2008 by the Government of Bangladesh. The first batch of students was admitted in the same year. The college was initially housed in a temporary location, but it moved to its permanent campus in 2010.

Campus[edit | edit source]

The campus of Pabna Medical College is located in the district of Pabna, which is in the north-west part of Bangladesh. The campus includes academic buildings, a library, a hospital, and residential facilities for students and staff.

Academics[edit | edit source]

Pabna Medical College offers a five-year Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program. The program is divided into four phases, each of which ends with a professional examination. After passing the final professional examination, students are required to complete a one-year internship in the college hospital.

The college is affiliated with the University of Rajshahi and the academic program is regulated by the BMDC.

The Pabna Medical College Hospital is a 500-bed hospital that provides healthcare services to the people of Pabna and surrounding areas. The hospital has departments in all major medical specialties.
