Phenpromethamine
Phenpromethamine is a psychoactive drug of the phenethylamine and amphetamine chemical classes which acts as a norepinephrine and dopamine releasing agent (NDRA). It is an analog of methamphetamine.

Phenpromethamine was developed in the early 1940s and was used for the treatment of obesity.
Pharmacology[edit | edit source]
Phenpromethamine acts as a releasing agent of norepinephrine and dopamine, which means it increases the levels of these neurotransmitters in the brain by helping to release more. This leads to increased stimulation, focus, and perceived energy levels in the user.
Side Effects[edit | edit source]
The side effects of phenpromethamine are similar to those of other amphetamines and can include insomnia, anxiety, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, dry mouth, and reduced appetite.

Phenpromethamine is a controlled substance in many countries due to its potential for abuse and addiction.
