Physiotherapist

A physiotherapist is a healthcare professional who specializes in the treatment and management of physical conditions, particularly those that affect the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems. They use a variety of techniques and therapies to help patients improve their physical function and mobility, reduce pain, and prevent or manage long-term health conditions.

The profession of physiotherapy has its roots in ancient times, with evidence of physical therapies being used in ancient Greece and China. However, the modern profession of physiotherapy as we know it today began in the early 20th century, in response to the needs of soldiers returning from World War I.
