a lymphoproliferative disorder that develops following an organ transplantation and exhibits plasma cell myeloma features.

Post transplant lymphoproliferative disorder[edit | edit source]

It is a condition in which a group of B-cells grow out of control after an organ transplant in patients with weakened immune systems.

Infection with EBV[edit | edit source]

This usually happens if the patient has also been infected with Epstein-Barr virus.

Progression[edit | edit source]

Post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder may progress to non-Hodgkin lymphoma
