The Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (PUC; Spanish: Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile ) is a private university located in Santiago, Chile. It is one of the oldest universities in Chile and one of the most recognized educational institutions in Latin America. The university was founded on June 21, 1888, by the Archdiocese of Santiago.

The Pontifical Catholic University of Chile was established to provide a Catholic education in response to the secularization of education in Chile. It was founded by the then-Archbishop of Santiago, Mariano Casanova, with the aim of promoting the Catholic faith and values through higher education.

The university has four campuses in Santiago: Casa Central, San Joaquín, Lo Contador, and Oriente. Each campus specializes in different academic disciplines and offers a variety of facilities for students.
