Prince Charles Hospital
Prince Charles Hospital is a major hospital located in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. It is managed by the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.

The hospital was established in 1978, named in honor of Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales. It was built to replace several older hospitals in the area, including St Tydfil's Hospital and East Glamorgan Hospital.
Services[edit | edit source]
Prince Charles Hospital provides a wide range of medical services. It has a 24-hour Accident and Emergency department, as well as departments for cardiology, orthopedics, radiology, and pediatrics. The hospital also has a maternity ward and a neonatal intensive care unit.
Research and Education[edit | edit source]
The hospital is associated with the Cardiff University School of Medicine, providing training and education for medical students. It also conducts research in various medical fields, particularly in cardiology and orthopedics.

The hospital has over 430 beds, with facilities for both inpatient and outpatient care. It also has a pharmacy, a cafeteria, and a chapel.
