Rita Ng
Rita Ng is a cardiologist and former Miss America titleholder. She was crowned Miss America 2000 and is known for her contributions to the field of medicine and her advocacy for healthcare issues.

Rita Ng was born in San Francisco, California. She attended University of California, Berkeley, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. She later attended the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine, where she obtained her M.D. degree.

Rita Ng competed in the Miss America pageant as Miss California. She was crowned Miss America 2000, becoming the first Asian American to win the title. During her reign, she focused on promoting healthcare awareness and education, particularly in underserved communities.
